I saw! *gleeful* I loved that whole scene! I'm following that community now. I went through and found so many of my fandoms. I even found Johnny the Homicidal Maniac! *giggles madly* I'd like to see John and Johnny meet. I think Johnny and House would be excellent friends and John would think (and be at least a little right) that they're both crazy. I hope Bobby Goren from Law & Order: Criminal Intent is there somewhere. I already found River and Simon from Firefly, along with Mal (who I believe would be excellent friends with John) and Inara and Kaylee and Jayne.
Did you ever see my House-Firefly character comparison at my journal? I could copy and paste it for you. It started after I finally finished the movie and then wrote an entire scene around it for 'Disintegration'. In my House/HP crossover, though, House was Sorted into Ravenclaw, but he was best friends with Lily Evans and Regulus Black. It worked out better than I ever would have imagined. I love writing that story. Even the integration of Draco into the House family worked better than I thought. *bright grin*
I'm not familiar at all with Firefly I'm afraid. Or any of those characters you mentioned, except for vaguely Bobby Goren. And the HP characters of course. I haven't been that into HP for a while, which is why I didn't keep up with your fic. I plan on reading it soon though. Hopefully I'll get more into HP again soon. The new book and movie are coming out very soon, so.
You should join the comm with a new character! lol It's awesome. I'm thinking of getting a second character, but I can't decide who. Jack McCoy from Law and Order, Obi-Wan or Anakin from Star Wars, Aragorn from Lord of the Rings... Those are my main thoughts. Maybe someone literary too, like Tom Wingfield from the Glass Menagerie, or Nick Carraway from the Great Gatsby. I don't know.
I still haven't finished The Great Gatsby and I was SUPPOSED to read it back in high school. *chuckles* I've tried reading it from the beginning because I forgot what place I was at, but right now I'm distracted by a whole other pile of brand new books, one of which I also never got to finish. I'm rereading that one from scratch, as well.
*realizes how much my concentration has suffered* Oddly enough, I reread The Giver again and finished that in a couple of days. Huh. I think I could apply for Bobby. Especially because I'm also writing an HP crossover for him at ff.hell that's on hold because of writer's block. I had him Sorted into Gryffindor, which is interesting considering what happened afterward...
I think you should apply for Jack. He was always one of my favorite L&O characters, along with Adam Schiff. *nods* I despise Arthur Branch and he pisses me off whenever I see an episode with him in it. Adam was such a defeatist, though, it's a wonder he bothered to run for re-election. It might be part of why I like him. *giggles
