[...hey, Luceti?

You think you could go a week without snatching some of his friends? Giles would really appreciate it right now.

He runs. He doesn't make it, but he runs as soon as he realizes just what he's seeing. When he makes it to the apartment, there's nothing there but clutter and mess and ruin.

...he turns off the coffee filter and starts cleaning up. And he can't help but feel a few faint stirrings of pride as he sees the damage. He remembers how he'd seen Don move to within inches of winning, however briefly. He remembers Robert's voice, before the droids silenced him. There was strength there, real strength. Especially between the two of them.

He's proud of you, Robert. Giles just wishes he could realize as much under better circumstances.]

[ Helios shares the sentiment. Just one week without having to see those he cares about not taken, and not be able to do anything to help them would be nice. But that's Luceti ever the changing and unpredictable world.

He arrives a few minutes later out of breath and trying to regain it as he walks inside. He just silently surveys the damage frowning as he makes his way towards Giles. Of all the people to take...and his barrier...it did nothing to help.

They never make it in time, no one ever does, but he is proud of Robert's determination in the face of such danger. The only thing he can do is wait and keep an eye out for the other. He'll bend down and pick up the other's fallen glasses cleaning them before putting them on the counter top. ] Robert...

They'll be back.

[The journals soon follow, dusted off and closed and set next to the glasses.]

We'll, um, we'll keep an eye out.

They will be.

[ A sigh as he looks around the messy room. But he nods in confirmation looking back at Giles with a somber look. ]

Of course. It's all we can do, for now. [ And when they return give them as much support as possible. ] W-We should finish cleaning up then, just...just for when they get back.

Of course.

[Giles nods even as he straightens up a chair. He kneels down just enough to check the legs for cracks.]

Nice to have something to come home to, and there's no telling what mischief might come about in a messy house.
