A thought on...thoughts.
I had an interesting conversation today with Matt and he reminded me of what it means to be passionate about what you want to do. I'm full of ideas, and I have things srewn out in my head so far it amazes me...I always think to myself: "Hey this is a GREAT idea! I'm totaly going to do that someday!"
Problem is...
I never do it.
So I think...it's time I started putting my ideas down on paper.
I also recently had a meeting with my advisor (a different) Matt, concerning my senior project, in which I complained about how slow my ideas come along at times. He said it didn't matter how quickly you come up with them, just that I show them to people(him) so that they can be given room for critique and development.
Somthing in life I've always been afraid of is showing my work as I create it, while it's still in a less than finished state. From here on out, I think I should post more in my scraps, as well as make physical the years of comic, fan art (yes, Raine...fan art...but don't worry! It's creative! ^_^ ) and character ideas that are just hanging around in my head!
I don't always have to wait to show them as finished ideas however, and I want to become more comfortable with putting half ideas or unfinished sketches up, and let people tear them appart!
