CCS
March 3rd! I can't WAIT for that day to come around! That my friends, is Portfolio Day at the Center For Cartoon Studies in White River Junction, Vermont! www.cartoonstudies.org
I got a reply email today from Robyn Chapman the Programming Assistant at CCS, so I'm all signed up to go...my great uncle Fred will be bringing me as he is familiar with WRJ, and happens to know the owner of the Colidge Hotel, which is in cahoots with CCS, housing some of their resident students.
After the tour and the ((free)) lunch, they'll be doing portfolio reviews! I plan on doing all my class works aimed at that review in the coming weeks. My plan is to let them guage my works now, gather what they want from me, then use the rest of the semester to use SAGE's facilities and faculty and my peers to create the portfolio that will get me into CCS. From there...I hope the rest will be history in the making! :)
