If you remember way back to the beginning of the month, this is the image I launched my Genesis Sketch series of posts with! Well as it turns out, this image was so liked by George that he decided it would be the lead in illustration for the first chapter! I made some minor edits, getting rid of the “swipe” motion line, and adding some highlighting to define her nipples.
From here on out I’ll be sharing the finished pencils and inks for each chapter, maybe even sharing notes on the story as we move through the images. Since my own comic, Citadel is set to premier at MeCAF next month, as well as launching here at RKDIA COMICS, I’ll be taking a step back from daily posts and staggering all the finished artwork to ensure a consistent delivery of quality content! I’ll let you all know the update schedule as we approach the launch!
I’m super excited to be working on two great fantasy/sci-fi stories right now and hope to really produce some beautiful art along the way!
