Here’s my submission for the Archie Comics Tails Fan Art Contest. I haven’t drawn Tails in way too long and this was a chance to go big and re-explore my way of drawing the two tailed adventurer. Submissions are due via mail by August 20th, and I’ll be making a nice, high-quality print of this to send in very soon. I in no way expect to win, I don’t think my work is super original or anything, but it’s worth a shot.
The second purpose of this piece is to lead my Portfolio as part of a submission I’m making to Archie Managing Editor Mike Pellerito. I’d like to thank Dr. Who artist, and northern Vermont cartoonist Blair D. Shedd for introducing me to Mike and helping get me this opportunity. I hope, at the very least, for a very constructive critique of my first post-CCS dive into the industry. Wish me luck!
