UPDATE! Working TV GET

Replacement GET. As you can see, it’s a Samsung. The stats are identical to the LG, minus 2″ diagonally. No big deal. Best Buy was actually super easy to trade with, it was pretty much in and out. The TV looks great, sounds passable (I need a sound system still) and best of all, no firmware crashes! I have yet to fully calibrate it, but I was happy to find that Comcast offers me almost 3x the channels now that I’m connecting with an HDTV. Over all, losing the internet stuff was totally worth getting a great, reliable piece of equipment.
Curiously…when I went in to Best Buy, I had the intention of simply replacing my LG, however they had all sold out. Seeking a trade in, I went right for the Samsung which yesterday was priced at $100 more than the LG (for less might I add…what’s in a name I ask?) Today, the price was dropped to equal that of the LG. They had none of the larger LG model with more features…but apparently had an over stock of the Samsung. Priced to move. Sly Best Buy….very sly!
