So I changed the journal colors to match the season. Woo, spring is here!!
In the process of looking for a good color scheme, I found
this program, quickly cracked it, and it's awesome!! If you're interested in doing any website design at all (or just want your journal colors to actually match in any sort of artistic sense), I recommend it.
Funny thing, too, since today is not at all spring-like. It's 11 degrees and cloudy. Work begins at 3pm, which is a blessing, but I'm just wasting my day inside because the やる気 quickly dissapears when the clouds roll in. Oh well.. next week?!
Yesterday I got a package in the mail from Seiji. Inside was a box of Kashi cereal (which I've eaten almost all of :O Cereal is something I can legitimately say is the only thing I really crave from America (besides the occasional sugar cookie or thick-crush pizza). Oooh, I love it), three boxes of Flintstones vitamins (さすがお医者さん(笑)), a bad of tea (verrrry mysterious), and a Burt's Bees
Head to Toe Starter Kit. He always uses the lip balm, and I've always mentioned that it smells awesome, so I guess he took that as a hint!! I've been devouring the hand and cuticle cremes and the toner. Moisture at last!!
I've put my plan into effect to have a HUGE AEON BBQ in 二子多摩川 in May. The students I've mentioned it to seem to be into it (they're always saying we need more parties), and quite a few of them have agreeded to help me organize it. My goal is to have over 100 students show up. I hope it works!!!
Annnnd, that's about it!! Time to make teh 弁当!!
edit: on 「いいとも」 they have two foreigners acting out a sexy bar scene in Japanese. I don't exactly understand why, but I'm soooo happy to have more foreigners who can speak Japanese be put into the spotlight!!! We're not all Japanese-illiterate tourists!!
