Coming in the office
Scotty arrives around seven with Chinese take away boxes of deliciously smelling caramelized pork and basmati rice, flashing Lisa a smile as he opens the glass door to Kevin’s office, only to find it deserted and the desk utterly disorganized. As he is pondering where to settle to eat, the beautiful view of the night falling over the city catches his attention. Scotty feels suddenly so powerful overhanging the others, up in his glass tower.
Kevin arrives a minute later, with soap-smelling, fresh fingers that run swiftly into Scotty’s hair, then says hello with a quick kiss, and sits on the window ledge, his stomach grumbling from hunger.
They eat dinner quickly. Kevin has more work to do.
They chat a bit, and when Kevin gobbles up his dinner, liking clean the residue of sauce from the carton, Scotty offers to share his portion with his ever-hungry husband. He does not need to offer twice, and when Kevin asks if there is dessert, Scotty curses himself inwardly for forgetting that little detail. His improvised apology or self-conscious blush makes Kevin smile and stare at him as Scotty’s mom used to do when he was a kid, with adoration, and frankly, Scotty cannot see why.
Before leaving Kevin to his very important case, Scotty hugs him, kisses him, and hugs him again. If Kevin feels like eating dessert, Scotty feels like eating Kevin. He is a victim of Scotty’s playing mood tonight. Despite the late hour, the empty office, the security guards first round scheduled around eleven - all of which meaning relative tranquility - Kevin feels ill at ease and exposed, propelled against the door, devoured by Scotty’s lips.
Kevin slight panic is a turn off to Scotty who starts to undo Kevin’s tie, then twines it around his wrist, and undertakes to set Kevin’s chest free. Concerned Scotty might want to tie him up; Kevin voices his concerns. Ravenous kisses silence him temporarily.
Scotty knows that making Kevin quiet requires a little creativity, so he seizes the tie and fastens it around Kevin’s open mouth. Unable to form words anymore, the unsexy protests become moaning complaints that make Scotty move faster. Next time he will need to remember bringing wine so Kevin can loosen up a bit.
Scotty takes Kevin right up on his desk.
The lights of the city become blurry spots in Kevin’s eyes as pleasure runs through his entire body. He comes right there, half-naked, the edge of the glass-desk leaving a red mark on his skin, as his release leaves a large stain on the carpet, a stain he will not even try to explain to the housekeeper for fear of raising suspicion. He stays there a minute, bare-bottomed, all parts dangling in the air unable to move, waiting for his pulse to regain a normal rhythm. His tie is wet in his mouth, surely damaged of teeth marks and saliva. A trophy he can offer to Scotty as a bittersweet reminiscence of an instant of pure sexual spontaneity and… near suffocation. The knot in the nape of his neck comes undone, and Kevin gulps air, so erratically he almost chokes. Scotty helps him stand up straight and button up his shirt. Avoiding Scotty’s eyes, Kevin takes a seat and pretends to go back to working on his case.
The silence between them lasts long enough that Scotty feels like he has to say something. Has he upset Kevin? Has he hurt him? He asks. Kevin stares at the torn tie lying on the desk, an inscrutable air on his face. Scotty decides to go. It is only when he is stepping out of the elevator that he realizes. He has just ruined Kevin’s favorite tie.
