While studying for midterms, someone indirectly reminded me of certain image files* lurking around the hard drive. I was planning on moving them to a more secure location, but have misplaced them.
*Not porn
Decided to go back to the source of the file (fb) to find a name I could track down. From a person with dozens of albums. Not so bad, I suppose, since the photo was taken around Halloween (not that you could tell). From there I could rediscover the original image name and search for that, since I rarely change image names.
The folder I wanted was not there. I guess I forgot to copy from the home pc. I can't believe I forgot to move that one too, since it had perhaps the last accessible images from a certain pre-2006 album as well as certain other images that would be painful to access otherwise.
The point of that? I wish I had an ethernet crossover cable. Or a USB bridge cable. Or a home router that worked with windows 7, so that I could better sync my files.
Adding on to my tech wish list a pair of headphones w/ mike. Duct tape. Knives.
My roommate is out in the bed next door, again. The "No means yes/yes means anal" guys have quieted too. In here, if not in elsewhere. The world is quiet here.
Perfect for physics.
Even though I got 94 on the practice exam and ridiculously well in high school physics, I feel that I'm going to get slaughtered by the physics midterm. I never prepared for pulleys. I hate pulleys. Ever in fourth grade, when nobody explained to me how they worked. Well, then they explained, but I still hate them irrationally.
