So I'm watching ABC Family because Incredibles is on and I have nothing better to do and there's nothing better on and they show a commercial for one of their original movies that's premiering...idk sometime.
It stars Michelle Trachtenberg and Drew Fuller.
Yeah, I was laughing. And trying to think up plausible Dawn/Chris stories for some reason.
Ok Pluses about the new job:
+ It pays cash
+ Yummy food
+ It forces me to interact with people
+ I find I don't mind the actual waitressing part
And Minuses:
- Owner is still a bitch who expects me to know how to do things without being shown how/told to do them.
- My poor feet are not used to be enclosed and I have an irrational hate of tennis shoes so I couldn't go that route for footwear. They are quite angry with me and are screaming "This is worse than the flipflops in below freezing weather" Clearly I live to abuse my feet
- I don't have any coworkers I can actually talk to. It's not that busy so unless it's Friday or Saturday night there's only one server. I want a job where I can talk to the people I work with y'know? At the very least it would force me to be more sociable.
- I have to wear white on black. UGH I look so bad in white on black. I was picking up my dinner from Manzelli's yesterday (omg amazing Italian Beef and minestrone, so glad I splurged and decided to order out) and was so jealous that the server's there wear black on black. I look good in black on black (plus I own plenty of black shirts, white not so much since I am clumsy and spill loads. I do look nice in white if it's like a form flattering white dress because of my darker skin, but white on black? No. Awful.)
Any of you play KoL? I'm getting back into it and looking for people to chat with/be friends with on there. I just started my first Hardcore ascension with my main (it only took me 3 years...), but I have a secondary one that I'm playing through with because I got bored at work one day and I'm looking for a clan for that one and am going to try and play that account as not a total recluse like with my main.
