Tips on drawing hands.

Or actually, it's just one tip, really. I think someone suggested I should do a tutorial like. A YEAR AGO or some ridiculous length of time, but I had trouble sorting out what to say so I decided to just cut it down to the most important bits. I get a little of what you mean by drafting shapes rather than lines. I really like the approach - I'll have to give it a try.

Hahaha--actually, I think part of the reason why I do it this way is just because line drafts confuse me. It's just. I can't get past the fact that I'm trying to portray a three-dimensional shape in two dimensions when I'm drafting with lines. This way, I'm keeping myself fooled the whole way through :B

(Damn that icon. It's so asmuing, and if I haven't mentioned before, you animated it hellawell.)

When I was kicking back into gear, lines were helpful as boundaries on big blocks o' gelatin. Downside is that blocks of gelatin aren't so hot for dynamisc, so I switched to ovoids... mostly. Ah, perspective. It's aaaalways shifting. Must practice moar. \o/

This is actually really helpful! I tend to over-complicate hands, which leads to all sorts of weirdness. Yours always look so natural.

Awesome. I was afraid this would make no sense to anyone but me xD

I love hands, they're just so spatial. I think I never really understood how to draw legs and arms until I figured this out.
