A really long shot

There was a girl who lived in our old neighborhood when I was probably around elementary school age, 8-10 or so...maybe younger or older, I forget. She's a year or two older than me I think. We had lots of fun times together and managed to stay in touch for several years as pen pals. Let me back up. Their family was in Chambana because her dad was teaching at the University - I have no idea what field, it wasn't relevant at the time. Then they moved back to their home in Haifa, Israel. Then they moved back to the US for a few years, in New Mexico that time, and we kept writing letters. I think it was about middle school years by then. Somehow, after they moved back to Haifa that 2nd time, we lost touch before long and I have no idea how to contact her now. I have no idea if she still lives with her family at the street address that I'm aware of, if she went to college, moved to another city or country, or has an email address or anything.

So:

1. If the Michal aka Michelle Shapira that I just described is out there and reading this (or a friend or family member of hers that has info), please leave a comment or send me an email or something. I miss corresponding with you.

2. If anyone reading this has any idea how I could track down contact info on her from the sketchy details I have, or some community that specializes in helping international pen-pals re-unite, please let me know. I don't trust a few google searches to give me what I want to know in this case.
