Because comments weren't being emailed, I only recently saw your friend's reply to my comment from a week ago.

I want to make it clear that I was not trying to start any drama, nor was I snapping at her. I honestly felt like I was being put down because I don't wear my engagement ring anymore and I had every right to say so. I appreciate her apology and the fact that she cleared things up, but you never gave me the chance to let her know, so I am doing so now. You made an incorrect assumption and I wanted you to know my intentions were not malevolent.
