It's been awhile since I posted and, by tradition, I try to have a new post up on my birthday. Well, that didn't happen this year. Actually a lot of posts didn't happen.
Didn't really talk much about my trip to Minnesota.
Never said a word about taking a trip to Disney World.
Skipped right over the saga of replacing the furnace.
Never even mentioned hanging up Christmas lights while perched precariously at the edge of a roof as sleet fell around me.
So why have I been so quiet? Eh, writer's block mostly. Couldn't figure out a way to put an entertaining spin on anything so I really didn't mention it. And now that I have come out of seclusion that means . . .
It means I am just letting people know I am still here. Probably will write something later on in the week. Probably. I'll at least try.
So, anyway, here I am. Another year closer to death. But I am still reasonably sure I am still alive for now.
