Oh man, I just watched the coolest GITS episode EVER. Well, maybe not ever, but it was swEEt.
Guess who's past you get to learn about.
Guess who's first love you get to meet.
Guess who's first prosthetic body you get to see.
That's right folks. THE MAJOR!!!
Without giving too much away, I'll tell you that the episode starts out with a training session to find much needed section 9 recruits. The training objective is to tail the major without loosing her. But while she's playing the oh-so-clever mouse, the major looses herself to a virtual embodyment of the universal concept of nostalgia. At least that's my take on it.
