I keep getting sad when I click on this page & see "0 Friend Posts." So... I'm posting!
In the midst of finals work here, but I took the day off to relax because I had a presentation today & I don't have anything else due until next week. I walked around on Newbury & shopped at Forever 21 & Anthropologie. It was pretty nice out; therefore I was forced to feel like an asshole as I neglected to "take a minute to discuss" world hunger/gay rights/AIDs/homeless children/battered women/etc at every single corner along my walk. Seriously, at LEAST 6 times I was accosted & muttered that I was in a rush so as not to have to stop & chitchat. Oy. Then tonight I watched TV for hoursss: "How I Met Your Mother," "Seinfeld," "Glee," "16 & Pregnant," & "The New Adventures of Old Christine" all while eating copious amounts of Easter candy sent to me from my parents & Devin's mom. OM NOM. I'm looking forward to being completely done with everything academic on May 5th. Then May 6th I have Orientation Leader Training (for the 3rd year in a row AKA I will be bored out of my mind), & on May 7th, I move out of my dorm. Then I'll be in Vernon for 10 days! During which I must read 17 PLAYS before I go to London on May 18th. Oof. It's gonna be an interesting time. I'm looking forward to London, but I think it's going to be a dramatic trip. It's just 12 Emerson girls & the professor, who is both demanding academically, yet appears wild in a weird way... for example, we all met up in the bar practically on campus & she said she's "going to get her hair done every day" & "do crazy shit every night, you can either join in or not. We'll sleep when we get back to the U.S." She also made fun of someone for being a virgin, proclaiming "We're not dealing with virgins. That was one of my main criteria for selection into this program." So yeah... I have no idea what to expect. Probably very little sleep & lots of inter-group drama, but hopefully I won't get stuck in the middle of anything. It's only 4 weeks so I think I'll be alright & I already know half of the girls going from previous activities/classes/the Castle, so it should be okay. I'm just looking forward to getting it over with as well. Hopefully going to be in Cape May for the rest of the summer & then it's just one more semester at Emmy! Yay! I can't wait to get the H-E-double hockeysticks OUTTA HERE.
