I can see your emptiness

I can hear your desperate calls

Just what is it that I lost

In giving you all that I am

I know you can see

All that you mean to me

Then why is it

You can’t pull the hardest

When it’s easiest for me

I tried so hard to reconcile

All the wrongs made between us

I built you up when you were weakest

But found myself crying in the end
