I'm going to avoid most capitalization, starting soon, because my left hand is currently out of commission as a result of my own recklessness.
first and foremost, damn you livejournal for not allowing me to use tab to indent my paragraphs11111. the ones would be exclamation marks, and maybe i'll change them when i can use both hands, but for now they shall remain ones111111
prerequisite reading for those who didn't know... i managed to miss a deer on lakeshore the other night. unfortunately there was a ditch that proved unavoidable after my instinctive swerve to miss the deer. more unfortunately, there was a tree that crushed my gasoline intake, wrecking my car for a while...
so, my day was filled mostly with me being at home, being relatively bored but finding solace in xenocide. no, i didn't go around killing a specific race, instead i read the wonderful book by orson scott card. around dinner time, my parents mentioned that my grandma, who happens to be 90 something, said she was finally giving up driving and she wanted me to have her car as long as i could take her to the store and to cards... i don't know if i particularly want an 'old lady car,' but it's better than nothing, so i'll certainly take her up on the offer.
anthony called and said he wanted to go to the movies or something, so we ended up seeing 'the wild' with a group of peoples. it wasn't great... it was mildly entertaining, but only because it was time spent in good company. afterward, we raided meijer's, where bernardo [the exchange student], anthony, and i ran around playing tag. i also bought some nail polish, 'cause i needed to reaffirm my femininity, or something. anthony accused me of being gay, however =[
after we got back to manistee i tried to car-surf on kyle anderson's car as he drove kimi home. i daringly decided to dive down and determined [after decimating my arm] that it was a decidedly dumb idea.
it didn't turn out as bad as half the wounds i've seen kathleen acquire, but it's still not a pretty sight.
All in all, it was quite a fun night.
