So the roommates decided to do a liquid diet/fast thing this weekend after new-years. I being usually up for a challenge, joined in. I now wish the cheeseburger on my right would stop telling me how delicious and juicy it is. The hard part is not really hunger, its more the lack of chewing. I've half a mind to go grab a cigarette or something to solve this oral fixation thing, except that would be like solving world hunger with nukes. Sure it works, but fallout is a bitch. Yesterday the roommates in their nigh infinite wisdom took all the fasting materials with them to their Sunday game. So for the whole day I got to just drink straight juice with no hunger solving additives. Balls.

Well, I've had most this weekend off- that is including new years and the eve- and have been entirely unproductive. I'm rather amazed at myself. Granted New-years and The Day After were mostly set aside for important debauchery, whatever. (Thanks to Sifyra and Mate for hosting an awesome bash. Sorry if I couldn't help out with the cleaning more.) The debauchery was fantastic as usual, and once again I am frustrated and embarrassed by how little I actually remember. Had a fantastic tarot reading, (thanks scyndariel!) which while I specifically remember it brought a tear to my eye, I only have a vague comprehension of what I took away from it, and not what was actually said. Poor show.

I guess that is something that I took away, is that I have been drinking quite a bit, which has been seriously detrimental to my weight. The fast should help shrink my stomach and what not, but what I really need is some exercise. So far I'm not using the elevator at work, which since we're on the 2nd floor, and the kitchen is on the 3rd due to construction, that seems like an easy way to shave some calories. I might try and go for a run later this week, but we'll see.
