Left the house in AL at about 7 pm. Arrived at the house in NC at about 5 am. Interesting road trip. Miss certain people already.
Neal's mom talked with dad about me joining them on their vacation in June. He seems receptive of the idea, and agrees that Neal's mom is insanely nice. It was kind of funny, she got to the car before I did and dad was just like "Oh, shit..." when he saw her coming... not having had the best experiences with natives of the area *cough*
Cyder and Raven are adorable as always, and refreshingly less sock-thieving and generally insane than Daisy. My baby sister Ellery is jibbering, crying and pooping up a storm (cause that's what babies do). I just got done unpacking, and this computer is teh l33t.
I might go on later about the many benefits of moving from dad to mom in contrast to the major malefit (No Emmy), but for now, I have puppies to play with.
