I was coherent when I came up with the ideas for these, but was definitely dead tired by the time I came up with the end product. I hope they at least make sense? Ugh, it's 3am, I need SLEEP!
Faith, after "Chosen":
Faith looked back in the direction of the sunken town that was rapidly disappearing out of sight.
Moving again… moving like she used to move from one relative’s home to the next, and then between foster families, never finding a place to call home.
Strangely, her time in prison had been the longest she’d ever spent in one place. Couldn’t call that home.
Not that she considered Sunnydale home either. The first time she’d hoped, but fucked it up. The second time she’d barely had a chance; now it was gone.
Moving again… but still not expecting to find home.
Buffy's perspective in the club scene from "The Girl in Question":
She felt the beat of the music pulsing through her entire body, she felt her increased temperature pulsing through her veins, and she felt the tension and heat radiating from the writhing, sweaty bodies swirling all around her.
She felt the two vampires’ eyes on her, could feel how they were filled with fire, jealousy and possessiveness.
She felt their gazes heating - nearly burning - her skin and she let them watch, pretending not to notice them even as she drank in and savored the attention from her former lovers. She let them watch, and she continued to dance.
