Saddened
I found out today that my friend Heidi who I used to work with was supposed to come back from her holiday tomorrow, but instead she found out on Wednesday that her brother had died. He had 2 epileptic fits and hit his head so hard it caused a blood clot which caused his brain to die. :( I met him a couple of times, he was a nice bloke. Heidi was having a nightmare getting a flight back from Turkey - I can't imagine how terrible that must have been, fighting to get out of a foreign country while suffering a bereavement like that. It kind of puts a lot of other stuff into perspective. I haven't seen much of Heidi this year since leaving London - saw her in April at her birthday do, but my heart really goes out to her and her family now.
