Update
I went to see my mum, she seemed ok but then they took her down to the operating theatre so we had to leave. They're going to put a metal screw through her ankle to hold everything together I think, but she will likely have to stay there until Wednesday at least, to get used to standing up and using crutches etc. or whatever they're going to give her for mobility. This is so weird, I still feel very shell-shocked.
