Well I guess this is our 9/11. What a terrible state of affairs. What's also quite scary is that I was supposed to be going up to London tomorrow for that conference. How terrifying. Thankfully all the people I know in London are ok - Lyndsay came pretty close though, just missing one of the attacks by about 5 minutes when she travelled home from work this morning. The initial thought by some was that this was sour grapes for London winning the Olympics bid.. and later more likely to be aimed at Gleneagles and the G8 summit. Now this is something I really don't understand - why are some people opposed to helping and giving aid to poor and underprivileged people, so opposed in fact that they would do something like this? It just defies comprehension. Sick and horrifying.
