Not a bad series, though the formula is always the same. But they're good for just relaxing and reading for an hour or two.
Biggest news at the moment - we're giving Underdog away. :(
It's for the best really, he has destroyed many things that equal more than what we paid to adopt him and he's constantly fighting with T. It started off as playful wrestling, but has evolved more recently to more fighting. We placed an ad on a classified page, but I took it down the next morning. I've been really upset about it, even though we've only had him for four months I've gotten very attached. Even if he did destroy my cow car seat covers that I'd looked forever for!
I remembered from an essay I had to write for a school assignment about the beagle sniffer dogs at airports. So I've contacted AQIS, the quarantine people in Australia to let them know about Underdog and one of the officers e-mailed me back saying they'd like to assess him for suitability. I think he'll be an awesome sniffer dog because he loves his food, and is always sniffing around. He's very smart (when you have food!) at puppy school and if only he behaved at home we wouldn't have to do this.
So I'm torn up about it, but I will feel much better if he gets accepted to be a sniffer dog than just taking him back to the RSPCA. And I'm hoping that if he does get in to AQIS, when he retires we can get him back again. That'll be years away, but I can hope. I can also hope that if we do get him back again he won't fight with T.
In house news, we're moving in on the 25th! Still haven't settled yet, but that should happen end of this week or next week. :D
