I got a hold of the OB, and my first appointment is Thursday :D I'm excited. We'll find out exactly how far along I am, and more general information about how to care for myself during

To be honest, when you're on antidepressants, the doctor needs to be aware of your needs as well as the child's. Based on this, I'd be looking for another OB, because regardless, quitting cold turkey is worse for you on some meds than stepping down gradually. I hate doctors who don't understand this about medication, especially mind-altering medication.
Being on antidepressants, there's a weighing of risk factors involved. You can quit taking them and have the crazy mood swings and depression and put your child at risk that way, or you can be calm and on your medication (or the lowest effective dosage of your medication, if you want to minimize the risk that way), and be putting your child at risk because you're taking ZOMGPOISON.
When I spoke to my GP about this (since Menk and I are trying for kids too), she basically recommended that I be on the lowest effective dose, but that she was on Celexa and Wellbutrin for both of her pregnancies and her children were fine. At the very least, I recommend you hook up with an OB/GYN who's willing to consider alternatives to quitting cold turkey. As it is, I'd recommend taking fish oil until you get to your appointment. It's a decent natural antidepressant, and shouldn't do any harm to your baby, since it's found naturally in fish.
Just did some research, and here's an article written by the Mayo clinic on taking antidepressants during pregnancy: Antidepressants: Safe during pregnancy? It makes several good points, and lists potential side effects for Celexa and other meds. I'd print this out and take it to your appointment.
All of them basically say the same thing; it differs between cases, but I can guarantee that quitting Celexa cold turkey is not a good idea at all. Stepping down I can get behind. Quitting cold turkey is just asking for trouble.
Well, the doctors basically told me to 'suck it up' till Thursday (My first OB app.), however, I've decided that my body is going through enough right now that the stress on the baby from MY mood swings, as well as how sick its making me is not worth it. I have read very FEW reports of Celexa doing harm to the baby (Except for rare cases of the lung thing), so I decided to start back on the Celexa till Thursday (A week isn't going to hurt anything, to be honest, I've been on it already for the entirety of my preg. sans this last week.) I'm taking a half dose (10mg) till thurs, and then I will figure it out.
Because your right, quitting cold turkey is a horrible idea, and the last time I tried my doctor knew how bad it was, she shouldn't have advertized me not to cold-turkey.
I'm going to wait till Thurs before deciding if I'm going to change OB, since I haven't actually spoken to MY ob about it, just her office nurse, and one of the other dr. in the practice. I've been told that the OB I went too is very understanding about anti depressants too.
I guess we'll know more on thurs, huh? Thanks for all your input, I really appreciate it.

Also, here's a CNN article on the topic: Is it OK to take antidepressants while pregnant? Definitely a good read.
And here's one from BabyCenter: Is it safe to take antidepressants during pregnancy?
