(no subject)
i am down to my last 3 days of work for the season. no more this week, and only monday-wednesday next week. i'm using my remaining vacation days to fill in the rest. unfortunately, i may have to wind up finding a part-time job or something for the next 2 months just to help pay rent. we'll see what comes up.
i just found out tonight that my upstairs neighbors have a squeaky bed.
it seems that i may have a couple old friends coming back into my life, which would definitely be nice. one, who i haven't seen in maybe 15 or 16 years, was a really good friend of mine from back in youth orchestra days when we had mutual crushes on each other but never said anything (dang it). she just got a job working for the same company as my mom, and is apparantly "dying" to see me (not that i can blame her, really). so starting in january - when she starts - i'll hopefully be able to do just that. btw, she's married with kids, so it's not like it's going there.
the other is a friend from the hospital where i used to work who i haven't seen in at least 5 years. apparantly she just got divorced and recently ran into another friend of mine. so hopefully that will lead to us hanging out soon as well.
as much fun as surgery was ast winter, i'm thinking that i might rather enjoy hanging out with some old friends a bit more. maybe.
