I am finally getting this knitting thing going again, and I am feeling braver....I am making a yummy scarf for my sister in law for the holidays...gray/lavender wool, Icelandic....so luscious...doing a simple rib knit, 1k 1p.....It's knitting up fast as all get out...My siste in law will loooove the colour. She's nuts for purple and lavender, especially lavender. I showed it to my brother, and he said OMG she;ll love it..so I am happy and I am more than halfway through in about five days..I am getting faster...
You know what my dream would be for the Holidays.....?
A fat gift certificate for a yarn store....online or here.....Gawd I'd just die....That and a set of BPAL Imps...art supplies.... and a large bag of old brass gears...and other brass findings.....yeah...LOL
The holidays, especially with birthday around the corner..34 eeeeek......just kinda....stressme out..thigns are so bloody tight..still no job..>_> grrrrr but something will come soon....
