Just stuff...and an explosive candle
I had tasty lasagne today followed by tasty rocky road stuff made by sweetypie_die (which she gave me yesterday when we met for drinkies).
Lab stuff is going well but one of my students has caused me some frustration by not handing things in.
I got a free candle from work. They can't be sold as they are a safety hazard. It is a little monkey holding a heart and apparently the heart explodes. I just found that way too funny to pass up. Just imagining people getting them as gifts and wondering if there was some underlying message.
Yay game tonight! Oh and Josh and I have a car now, his dad gave it us. It works. A few problems but nothing safety-wise...more comfort related such as heater not working yet. We have it registered, insured and in process of NRMAing it. I guess I should now learn a thing or two about how cars work...
Um. My pendant that spidercat brought me from Vietnam is now on a new string (finally!) and is much less likely to get lost. Joy!
Beasts of Bourbon on Saturday. I should listen to more of their songs before then.
