Oh, I know! I like to support other artisans, though. incorporate their crafty magic into my life and all that. I like the feel of that woman's produce.

Awesome! My mom just set up an etsy shop, too. http://strawberry14.etsy.com

And I added you to my favorites.

wow. Your mom is crafty! I love inkle/backstrap weaving, not that I have done any of it...
So yeah, I added her, and will add you too. being relatively new (again) to the etsy thing, just getting a feel for the scale of it. there are a lot of people on there!

Yes, there are a LOT of people on etsy. You basically have to do your own promotions to get anyone to notice you. But I think it's a really easy site to use, and it's convenient.

and I appreciate not having to deal with the code that having my own site requires. I got about as far on that learning curve as I was gonna.
i still have my own site, but for my renewed five gallon bucket enthusiasm, I'm going to concentrate on etsy.
I can do promotions, sort of, and I can be patient. Very.

HA! Gothic Lolita...

Your pics do look quite nice on the etsy site. It all looks quite nice, actually.

You know, I started to knit some handwarmers out of the handspun you gave me--maybe a little cyclical gifting on the horizon?

your kids are thinking for themselves.
good job on you for letting them find their own way and seeing the way of their own thoughts, not someone else's.
