Here's me again.

Oh check it out. When I can remember, when I haven't frittered my time-a discipline I like to do daily is "Art I Ching". Really I just randomly poke into a Phaidon book-The Art Book or The Photo Book and select an image. It's like a word of the day, but instead of shoehorning a word like, "licit" into my daily conversation-I try to shoehorn an artistic meaning.

Today's painting was "Sleeping" by Philip Guston. Homeless-Grumpy-Vulnerable. To me it is a metaphor for human life on earth. It's uncomfortable, inconvenient, bodily. We all share this earthhumanness.
