I didn't have to get any further than a few feet in my school's doors this morning before things started becoming very obviously screwy. For the first time ever, our school was segregated into male and female entrances for registration.
Ew, school, you little shit. Even if I eventually realized that they just wanted to have 50% of the people going in each side of they gym, that is still totally not ok. How is that different from if they had had a door that said "white" and one that said "coloured"?
Bah. And once I got over my anger for that, I got the lovely surprise of having a schedule that only gave me about half the classes I signed up for. Where I was supposed to have Drama, Film and Video Production, and Political Science, I got two free periods and Pre-calculus. *pulls out hair* I will probably cry if they don't fix it so I get Drama. Ok, no, I will for sure.
Even if I get all my classes sorted out, this promises to be a stressful year. Besides trying to get a job, it sounds like I'm going to be running two clubs. Unless someone more capable steps up, I'm going to be running the GSA, and when I was chatting with Mlle. Girouard she said something to the effect of "Guess what! You're going to run French Club!". *headdesk*
