They say? Did you run into my brothers over the weekend, or something? They only started saying that after I had to hex some belief into them.

But I've also heard you want to learn to apparate?

Have you?

[Curious pause.]

Well, yeah, you've heard right. I do. I thought I'd best learn here-never know when I've got to do it without the help of Side-Along.

Sirius said that you seemed irritated you needed a Side-Along, anyway.

[His voice softens a bit]

I can try and teach you, if you like.

[By way of explanation.]

I prefer to do things myself. I'm seventeen, for Godric's sake, I should know how to do it by now.

[Another pause, but it's one of hope and excitement.]

You'd teach me?

If you want to learn, I can try. I mean, I didn't learn from any professors, James, Sirius, Peter and I all sort of cobbled it together, but it's better than nothing.

Got a bit splinched that one time we went after you, but nothing bad. And as much as I'd love to see Mum and eat her cooking again, I doubt she'll end up here. The deities or whatever decides who comes here would regret hacking her off like that.
