"You two don't have friends, you have an audience. People to sit by you and nod their heads as you act out your lives. You need this audience, so you protect this audience. Nothing will harm it or stop the show from going on. In fact in doing this, you create an even bigger show that also involves the audience! How nice of you two to be so considerate.
You never speak to them or think of them as people. You speak through them, to the back wall, like you were trained to do, you know, to make your audience believe you are talking directly to them.
Just like all performers, when someone gets tired or bored of the same acts over and over, and the same monotone, over and over, and they decide to heckle or distract or upstage you, you get angry. You quickly squash them like the bug they are and make them realize they are not worthy enough to be on stage. That is why they are in the audience, and you two are the actors! "
