getting in business
so tonight i decided to pull out my desk supplies...my hole puncher, my stapler, my highlighters...basically, the stuff that means business...oh and i found my calendar, which i hadn't been using since i'd yet been back to school. but now i'm going to get my life into shape.
Seussical goes. we have 8 more performances. come and see it! you know you want to see me dressed as a male monkey...oh yeah.
my parents came up this weekend...they brought me some water and some necessities. i love them. and i can't wait until i can leave Stetson for a bit. i need a break! when Seussical is over, then i'll get a bit of a break...which is really nice. looking forward to it.
never thought i'd say it, but God bless Ellis, Hector and John...they helped me quite a bit today.
oh yeah, and guess what? i got the Te Lucis solo for Choral Clinic! me, singing solo, in front of a packed Elizabeth Hall...nothing makes me more nervous. especially cause right after i finish the Choral Clinic concert, i have to rush over to the Sands and get into monkey makeup and do the 2nd Act of Seussical...or maybe i just won't that night...Katie's going to be wearing my costume anyway...hmmm...that wouldn't quite work then, would it? we'll figure it out...
