Uber-long day today...and I still feel pretty crappy, and my voice is still really tired, even though I sounded not too bad today...
Seussical rehearsal is going. the choreographer came tonight and i felt compelled to make up some stupid crazy dance moves and i managed to step on the outside of my ankle and twist it. it's swollen and it hurts. yay. i love being a dumbass sometimes.
seems like everyone in the world called me this evening during rehearsal...i had 4 missed calls...which is a lot for me, lol. anyway, i hung out with Mark, got a massage and watched the first 2 acts of La Traviata with Anna Netrebko, some amazing tenor whose name i can't remember and Thomas Hampson. it was hot, and i can't wait to see the death of Violetta. yum.
i might skip my first class tomorrow...haven't decided yet. i have a lesson at 11 and then a meeting for VoV at 12, which will run however long it runs and then opera at 3:30 and then we leave for the choir retreat right after that, and oh shit, i just realized that i don't have an overnight bag to pack some clothes in and whatnot. joy. maybe i'll just use a large purse. woot.
okay, well, i'm in pain and i've made myself tired (when i left Mark's i wasn't too tired), so i'm going to bed. lets hope my foot doesn't swell anymore during the night.
