yay!!!
so i am very happy to say that my computer made it safely back to Orlando from NYC...and my bedding came too! the box that my computer came in was very shabby looking indeed, but at least it's here and it's safe and everything is hunky dory! yay!
i'm also pleased to say that i'm recovering from CAP better than i thought i'd be. i was driving my car today and i realized that i am actually kind of happy to be driving again, even though i really miss the subway. but yeah, i just keep telling myself that i'll be back to New York next June, and then i'll have the whole world in front of me. i can't wait!
so on Tuesday morning, i get a call from Brandon Weltz and we talk for a bit and he suggested that i should come to DeLand and visit...and since i had nothing better to do, i went! and i got back today...it was cute. i had much fun with Brandon and Kristin and Russ, and i got to see Katie Pettit and her friend Andrew Marvin, who actually went to high school with my brother Teddy...so weird. but yeah, it was awesome. tonight, Katie and Bran and i went to see Pirates of the Caribbean 2, which was unspeakably awesome, really it was. and yes, i realize it came out a month ago, but oh well...it was still really good.
my room is a hideous mess. i have to make some sense of all of this stuff in 10 days so that i can pack it all up and move back to DeLand, if i have an apartment to move in to, that is...
which brings me to the fact that i when i went to visit DeLand, i checked on the status of the new apartments which are currently under construction, and they only have 10 days to complete them, otherwise, all of DeLand's motels are going to be full of very angry students. i sent an email to Reslife tonight...hopefully, they'll write me back and shed some light on this situation.
okay, now i'm off to watch the Discovery Health Channel and chill out for a bit.
