the short (as opposed to the long)
so it's really fucking hot in New York City. the heat index at 2 pm this afternoon was 113 degrees...holy mother of god.
Kathryn Rossetter had another bitch fest this afternoon in musical scene study. the woman needs to NOT teach...i don't wish her ill, but her thoughts do not communicate well to students, and she is not kind...i pray that she stay at home with her yappy chihuahua and leave the students alone. she made Laraine cry today, and was relentless. sigh. crazy people.
the whole group went out to dinner last night and i took lots of pictures. i love them (my group, not the pictures, but the pictures, too, i guess).
tonight, we're going to Mady's for drinks and to chill out. i'm excited.
i just took a cold shower and it was glorious.
Shawn and i traded flash drives and he gave me some awesome new music by this Italian chick, Elisa. awesome stuff. really all purpose...i like it a lot.
we did this hot jazz combo this morning in class and i totally rocked it. i may be the biggest girl in the class, but i stuck every move and committed 200% and it had attitude and character and it was sooo much fun. i was shaking afterwards and i'm sore now, but all i want to do is dance! it even made me think about dragging out the old CATS choreography when i get home...lol.
tomorrow is the last class with Tessa, last class with Lars (i think i'll miss him just a little, cause he gave me that compliment in class last week while we were doing softshoe), last class with Elizabeth (lots of tears for that one), and last class with Bill...i will be crying...oh man. i can't believe i have to leave this place.
but right now, i need to get dressed and get ready to go to Mady's.
i'm home in 3 days. it doesn't seem real.
