get stuff here! capezio and other stores like that have all you need. do you have tap/ballet/jazz shoes too, btw? have you gotten the list of things you need from them yet?
yeah, i got the list...the only thing i have is a pair of jazz shoes. i need new ballet slippers and i've never owned tap shoes, so i need those too...and i have dance pants, but i need tights and a leotard or two cause i've grown significantly since i danced (oh so long ago in 9th grade...)
the only reason i might buy them online instead of in nyc is cause prices in new york might be higher...but i don't know? are they?
to be honest i don't recall prices in orlando.. but LOTS of stuff is on sale at capezio all the time. it's totally up to you but if you think you're gonna use them a lot i PERSONALLY would rather try stuff on.. leotards especially. those things are so individually different, and i especially needed to try on due to my stackedness ;) the well endowed girls ended up all just wearing sports bras under the 'tards too.
are the teachers at CAP really strict about dance dress code? i know some places are super strict about it... what kinds of things did people wear? =o)
yea they were pretty strict about dance dress. mostly about the legs--you can't wear baggy or loose pants, they'll get on you for that. tights, dance pants, even gauchos worked well for most. depends on the teacher though. mostly just stuff you can move freely in. for the other classes it doesn't matter what you wear.
