You are always there for your family and friends.
You are always trying to help.
You are always willing to contribute to fix things or problems.
You are always patient and kind ... Even when the rest of us are about to give up.
To the point where sometimes -- you're too nice for your own good.
And sometimes, your purity and kindness annoys the shizz out of me because sometimes, problems can't be fixed. =P
Even though it sucks getting only one gift for both xmas and your bday,
just think of how special you are.
Your birthday is celebrated all over the world! and is never forgotten hehe =)

Ahh . . . It's Christmas again!
Only this time, I don't have a wish list for Santa.
I remember last year,
I kept wishing and wishing that my Prince Charming would hurry up and rescue me!
I remember, not being happy last Christmas because Santa never gave me Justin wrapped up and waiting for me under the mistletoe..
Not having a single clue that my Prince Charming would turn out to be someone I least expected it to be..
Now I don't have a wish list for Santa.
I've got everything I need in Brian and I wouldn't ask for anything else.
Although, it would have been nice to spend Xmas together -- I'm happy just knowing he loves me =) what else could I want? =) ♥
Sometimes, I think that people have gotten soo caught up with what they get for Xmas,
that they forget what this special day is actually about.
It's the day Jesus was born.
Yeah okay, for those of you who aren't religious -- it's another excuse for a BBQ, drink session, and gifts!
But Xmas is about so much more than that I realize..
Throughout my stay here so far, I see the simplicity of life for my family here... And everyone else.
It touches me how, no matter how hard life is for these people,
no matter how poor they get, every Xmas is happy.
My Ate AnnaVi organized a "Gift Giving" program for the less fortunate kids of this neighbourhood, and I helped out.
And to see just how happy those kids were with little things like spaghetti from Jollibee, a hotdog, juice -- and a few toys...
It kinda made me feel good and bad. LOL
Good because I got to help out with the games we organized, and actually handing out the gifts...
Bad because thinking of all my Xmas' where it's been about my new clothes, my new shoes, my new things.. I feel so selfish?
Ugh.
Christmas is not about how expensive your gift is, but how meaningful it is, not about what you get, but what you can give.
And even if you can't give much, there's one thing everyone can give -- rich or poor -- and it's LOVE.
So love each other.
Love your family.
Love your friends.
Because this is the perfect time to show them, and let them know how special they are.
