Wading through mud
Ugh. My short story is finished, and now I'm wading through legal crap. An English professor told me that I don't have to worry about libel, since the story is fictional, but a friend said that I can actually be sued, and it turns out the friend is right!
So I'll have to rework one character completely. And other things.
Whew! Reworked one character that was too true-to-life, and critically read through the final section for any legal problems. I think it's OK now.
