“That wasn’t there a moment ago...” Sarah Jane muttered to herself, studying the object closely. When she’d looked around earlier she hadn’t thought to examine the furniture. As she moved towards the object she realised that had been a very bad move on her part.
It began to glow and hum as she moved closer.
“Luke,” She barely managed to call out as she began to back away, her voice dying in her throat until she spun around and saw her son turning to her. As he stepped towards her, adrenaline began to pump through her system.

“RUN!”
