At 10 am this morning, in the cramped bustle of Chinatown, I got Takezo Kensei's herald/The Nakamura Corporation logo tattooed on my right
forearm.
And here it is...as you can see, the skin around the ink is
red and puffy, but that's only because I just took a shower and soap
with fragrance in it washed onto my arm. Products with fragrances are a big no-no for the first couple days.
It took 30 minutes and was mildly uncomfortable, like being stung by a metallic hornet over and over again. Afterwards, it burned until I slathered it with aloe. Mmmmm, aloe. We're pals.
I'm super happy with the ink, though. Looks fantastic, standing out in sharp black relief to my dead white skin.
When I got home from work last night, I had but an idea for a Halloween costume. By 10 pm, I had a constructed robot head, upper arms, a chest and seperate torso and boxes for lower legs. There was a lot of sawing, chopping and painting. She's coming along well.
I'm dressing up as Brawl, the angry lil' Decepticon army tank.
