Last night at work, a guest told me that I am "truly an angel."
Today a coworker told me, "I really love being around you. You have a calming presence." One of the strangest compliments I've ever received.
Things have been good lately. Today was amazing because it started off with a grande soy sugar-free hazlenut latte for $1.81. (Yes, I know my drink is preceeded with far too many adjectives.) Nicole totally has the hookup at her Starbucks. It was a perfect start to our morning.
Tomorrow is supposed to be mostly sunny. I plan on tanning in my backyard all day. I have lots of things to read because lately I've been going back and reading old course packets and books from school. I still have this entire anthology to read.
OH! and...
My parents are going to Las Vegas in September and offered to pay for my sister and I to come with for a weekend --(my parents will be there a little longer, but I only want to go for Friday night/Saturday and Sunday since I won't feel comfortable using any of my PTO days that early into my new job.) We haven't been on a family vacation since like 1995. I'm stoked.
