NaNoWriMo Update again
Well, I remain on track overall, but I am having periods of struggle. It seems like everytime I have the chance to write, I want to do other things. I keep trying to write, but it doesn't want to flow like I feel it should, which is frustrating.
I'm trying to keep to right around 2k a day so that if one of these days turns into a battle I just don't have the energy to win, I'm still not behind. If I actually manage to hit 2K today and tomorrow I'll be a full day ahead, which would be huge for me this year.
Here is a little piece of the sisterly affection from the book:
The shadows thrown by the lamp in Jessica's room shifted a bit, but they didn't move toward the window or the door. "So, any chance you might be able to tap into something for more definitive answers?"
"Elle, are you asking me to hack into her computer?" Cass arched one pale eyebrow. "And search her user history?" Her voice had the tone of a reprimand.
I bit my lip and did my best to look ashamed of the suggestion, but I knew I didn't quite manage it. "Yeah, kind of."
A wide grin, showing bright white teeth split Cass's face and she mock-sniffled. "I'm so proud, and I thought you'd never ask."
