this is a funny first update after such a lovely wedding, where everyone was super fab and ever so sweet...i'll post pictures eventually but needless to say it was a great time, lalala.
this morning i went to visit the two french school boards so hopefully i should be supplying for them very soon. maybe it's the prospect of working during the day, or even for regular hours, but being at the bank tonight is excrutiating. painful. luckily i have my knitting and texaco, a not-bad novel by patrick chamoiseau. it's based in martinique, spans centuries and many characters, and has a neat oral history puzzle feeling to it. but sadly, even these distractions, and some delectible 'dark roast' yerba mate (with nutmeg!! with almond milk!!) are just not doing it tonight.
