Given enough time, you can indeed forget any skill, even how to ride a bike. But even if you do forget something, as long as you were proficient at it at some point, you can generally pick it up again. Still, I don't want to even begin to forget anything, or let myself get out of shape. I'll pay for it when this is over if I do.

I think a lot of us will. That's why I don't like days like these. I've been doing training on my own but it's easier when I have a partner.

Agreed, or at least something to fight against. There's no monsters here, at least that I can find, so I need to come up with some other options. Practicing against another person when you use a whip is... complicated.

Ah... I can't imagine trying to defend against a whip. I wouldn't mind trying if you're looking to spar sometime. I've never had a chance to practise with a weapon like that.

Defending against it is difficult; trying to spar someone without injuring them is nearly impossible if they don't know how to move quickly. There's a good reason a lot of whip practice is more like target shooting. But I need a lot more work on many other weapons - I wouldn't mind sparring with you with those.

I really don't mind if I get a few injuries. You can learn faster when you get the chance to have practise against the real thing. Maybe I'll come up against an enemy with a whip one day. I'd like to know how to defend against it. Any kind of training would be good.

All right, I don't mind trying it as long as I don't have to pay your doctor's bills. Where? When?

At least we don't have to pay for that sort of thing here. Maybe in a couple of days when the ground dries. I think that there's a clearing in the forest we could use.
