It's the third time something like this has happened, but it's only been around this time of year.

Any particular reason why?

None that we know of, unfortunately. The first time it happened we were told it was an accident... but then it happened again. It could just be some malfunction in the system they have...

If it's a malfunction, wouldn't it be better for us to know of it when it happens?

They don't really think we should be kept up to date on the details.

So they truly do think of us as experiments. [Sigh, she's still not okay with that idea.]

For the most part, yes.

The information we do have... is that what they allowed to slip, or were the villagers able to gather it on their own?

We gain information when they speak to us, and during other opportunities, though those are much rarer. The head of the organization is fairly open with us, though it's obvious that a lot goes on that he is unable to handle.

The fact that there's so much he is unable to handle is worrisome, don't you think?

Indeed. He's only recently become the head, however, so it's understandable that there would be such... divisions. Unfortunately that just makes things more complicated for us.

Have the experiments gotten any worse as a result of that, or have things relatively been the same? [Questions. Tear has many of them.]

The experiments haven't altered much, even if we understand a little more about why they happen.

Before he took over, we knew considerably less about the situation, so perspectives on the matter were a little different. Our understanding of it is still an ongoing process... and one I wouldn't feel too comfortable speaking of through here.
