new post AND new layout, thanks to the awesome creative director holly!!! :D
speaking of blog collaboration, i'm interested in expanding the staff a little to utilize my creative friends' talents. right now i need an official blog photographer and an official blog artist to take pictures and sketch drawings/cartoons that can be used in the blog. (as my CD noted, the block text could use some images to break it up, but i'm concerned about using random images on the web due to copyright reasons) specifically i'm thinking of creative artist types like sahiga and betty (if you ladies are interested) but this project is open to anyone who wants to contribute. even if you don't want to be an official blog artist, you can be a contributing artist, and contribute as little as one pic or as many as you liek (and get credit on the main page + bylines for your art, of course). so if you have a digital camera, photoshop, or a penchant for art, let me know! i'd love to showcase your work!
for writers, i'm also considering featuring 'guest articles' by contributing writers. so if you have a particular story/tip you'd like to share, you too can get a byline and feature on the blog. and if you just have the idea but don't want to write it you can tell it to me and i'll write it and give you a 'story by' or 'concept by' byline credit) i'm not out of ideas yet haha but the more the merrier! ;)
